Tea sommeliers bring expertise, personalization, and a heightened tea experience to individuals, businesses, and events. Their knowledge and guidance help clients explore the diverse world of tea, discover new flavours, and create memorable tea moments.

Tory completed the Tea & Herbal Association of Canada’s TAC Tea Sommelier® certification program in Fall 2021. The program has received much recognition by the international tea community over the years and is the winner of the CSAE (Canadian Society of Association Executives) Award of Distinction for an education program.

In addition to holding the TAC Tea Sommelier® certification, Tory has continued her education with hands-on experience in the tea fields of Nepal, in Thailand with the Asian School of Tea, as well as completing online courses in Tea Etiquette, Herbal Infusions, and in summer 2023 is enrolled in a course on Tasseomancy (tea-leaf reading).

Tory enhances her understanding of current issues in the global tea industry, through attending annual conferences - including the World Tea Expo and the North American Tea Conference, and being an active member of the Tea & Herbal Association of Canada.
